Essex Senior County Championship 2025
Lexden Rackets & Fitness Club is delighted to host the 2025 edition of the Essex Senior County Championship. We can’t wait to showcase the best of squash in our region! This would not be possible without our sponsors, Millane Contract Services Ltd and Karakal. Thanks to Millane Contract Services sponsorship we are able to offer a £250 prize pot for both the Open A and Ladies A categories, as well as subsidising the tournament shirts! Karakal are our kit partner and will be providing shirts and kit prizes for all categories.
- Entry is open to Essex residents or those who were born in Essex.
- Draw categories available are Mens A, B, C and D plus Ladies A and B.
- Mens and Ladies A events carry a prize pot of £250 each
- Winner will receive £250, R Up £150, 3/4 £75 and £25
- Essex Squash have confirmed County Team selection will be based on results of the Closed.
- Recommended levels for the Open draws are A – Premier & above, B – Div 1 & below, C – Div 2 & below
- Masters Draws available are Mens and Ladies O35, O40, O45 and every 5 year category upward to O70.
- Depending on draw sizes some categories may be rolled together, or an extra category may be created.
- Depending on draw sizes some matches may need to be played on Thursday 23rd January. Where an earlier start is required, players will be given the option to agree to play at a venue and on an earlier day of their choosing if they cannot play on the Thursday.
- For every draw there will be a main draw and a plate, so every player is guaranteed at least 2 matches.
- Entry is £20 for one draw or £30 for 2.
- Players can enter up to 2 draw categories.
- Entry deadline is Friday 17th Jan 2025. Draws will be published by Wednesday 22nd Jan.
